Rimpau.org is a private non-profit organisation with the aim of supporting any member of the Rimpau family with their internet needs. To facilitate this Rimpau.org maintains a server at all times.
As you can imagine it is hard for one family, however big, to use the whole capacity of 1 dedicated Server. So in order to reduce wasted overheads Rimpau.org sponsors worthwhile projects with access to their Server and bandwidth. The project sponsored will receive web hosting for its project/program at no costs.

Usually the decision is made by the Chairman and the Person, Team or Project leader is approached, but it is also possible to propose sponsorships. Please read the sponsorship guidelines here and use the form provided to contact us. A sample Sponsorship agreement has also been provided for your perusal.

The Server is running Linux Debian.

This mean that you can run virtually everything that is possible on the Internet. Forums, chats, blogs, IRC bots, RSS Feeds and even your own programs will run with this webspace. This package has no Pop-ups or paid adverts of any kind!
